Why A Small Shift In Mindset Can Win The Race

All it takes is a small shift in your mindset.

Deciding you no longer want to live in the same daily nightmare.

Ack Ack Ack...goes the alarm as you fight the morning and dread the thought of another day in the trenches.

You hammer down a few cups of coffee and a slice of toast, if you're lucky, before rushing out the door in hopes you can beat the morning traffic. If you're late again, the boss is definitely going to fire you this time. "Never to happen again..." rings through the back of your head in their voice.

...Oh God, please let me get there on time.

Skkrrrrrttt into the last parking spot, and oh isn't that nice... your lunch now scattered across the floorboards. FML

Ok... are you starting to see the picture?

Does it sound all too familiar?

Yeah, I thought it might.

Let's say we start the day over from the beginning with a shift in mindset and see what's possible, shall we?

You awake from a deep sleep and roll over to write down five things you are grateful for in your life. The smile on your face stretches ear to ear as you think about the beauty in your life. Bzzz bzzz goes the alarm... you beat it to the punch again. That's the 5th time this week.

You spend a few minutes meditating before cleaning up and sitting down to a fresh breakfast and the day's list of essential tasks.

You see, the recent proposal you've submitted has been approved and will mean significant profit for the company while responding to a few emails. Bet the boss will be pleased with that message you think to yourself before rinsing your dishes in the sink.

You hop in the car, crank up your favorite podcast, and enjoy a pleasant drive into the office before finding a spot right up front.

I know, I know...

You're probably thinking, "Yeah, Right, that sounds great, but it's not realistic to happen every day," and you're 100% right.

What if these sorts of days happened more often than not?

A change in your mindset and the way you approach the day can drastically alter the way the day approaches you.

There is something called the Law of Attraction that states

... positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life.

Think about what you're putting out into the universe.

Is it positive or negative?

It's alright, to be honest with yourself here. This is the moment when the butterfly wings flap, where you make the shift in direction, which drastically alters the rest of your existence.

You were born to be great; it's time to accept the call and show the world what you can do
