What are you doing to live with intention?


Are you working hard to create the life you want? Are you doing things that make you happy and fulfilled? If not, why not?


It is never too late to start living with intention. You can begin by making small changes in your daily routine.


For example, start each day by writing down three things you are grateful for. Or, make it a point to speak kindly to yourself and others. These are just a few ideas to get you started.


The important thing is to begin taking steps, however small, to live the life you want.


Below are 10 things you can do to live life with intention:

1. Decide what you want

What do you want to achieve? What kind of life do you want to live? Get clear on your goals and visions for the future.


2. Set goals to help you achieve what you want

Once you know what you want, set goals that will help you get there. Make sure your goals are specific, realistic, and attainable.


3. Make a plan of action to reach your goals

Once you have your goals set, it's time to make a plan of action. What steps do you need to take to achieve your goals?


4. Follow through with your plan and take consistent action

This is where the rubber meets the road. It is not enough to just have a plan, you need to take action and stick with it. Be consistent in your efforts and don't give up.


5. Evaluate your progress and make adjustments as needed

As you go through the process, evaluate your progress and make adjustments as needed. If something isn't working, don't be afraid to change it.


6. Be patient and persistent

The journey to achieving your goals is not always easy. There will be ups and downs along the way. Be patient and persistent in your efforts and don't give up.


7. Enjoy the process

The journey is just as important as the destination. Enjoy the process of working towards your goals and make the most of every moment.


8. Be grateful for your blessings

Despite the challenges you may face, always be grateful for the blessings in your life. This will help you stay positive and focused on what is important.


9. Celebrate your successes along the way

Celebrate your successes along the way. This will help you stay motivated and focused on your goals.


10. Live each day with intention

Make a conscious effort to live each day with intention. Be aware of the choices you make and how they will affect your life. Make it a point to do things that make you happy and fulfilled.


As you begin to live with more intention, you will likely find that your life begins to change for the better. You may start to attract more positive people and experiences into your life.


The more you do to live with intention, the closer you will get to achieving the life you want.  And, you will likely feel happier and more fulfilled overall.


The more successful individuals I meet, the more I see how important it is to be intentional with every move we make.

That does not mean we need to have our entire lives mapped out. But it does mean being aware of the choices we make and how they will affect our lives. Because what we do each day matters. It all adds up to the life we live.


And that should serve a higher purpose than just making us feel good.


Our happiness should be a by-product of living intentionally and serving others. No matter what you are doing, make sure it leads you down the path to becoming a better version of yourself.


We all have choices to make in life. By being intentional with our choices, we can create the life we want to live. It is not always easy, but it is worth it.
