You Are What You Believe

Have you ever had one of those days wherein you feel the weight of thousands of problems crashing down at you all at once? And under all of that massive pressure, you lay awake fighting the urge to cry or scream or even both?


Because I have and it is exhausting but these days are critical to growth.


These are the days that test your strength, determination, and resilience. They force you to find a way to keep going even when everything inside of you is telling you to give up. And while these days can be difficult, it is important to remember that they are also days of opportunity.


Days like these present challenges that, if we are brave enough, we can use it to define who we are and what we can accomplish.


They force us to decide if we will continue sinking towards the bottom or swim our way back up to the top. And they give us the chance to prove that even when everything seems lost, there is still hope and a reason to keep fighting.


We all struggle with the weight of our doubts and fears but it is in these times that we must remember our strengths. We must remember our courage and our worth. Then we add on the struggles and insecurities of those we love. We take on the world’s problems as if they were our own. We try to fix things that we have no control over. And we carry all of this weight around with us until it feels like we are going to break.


But we don’t break. We keep going. Because even on our worst days, we are still stronger than the weight of our doubts, fears, and the struggles that surround us. And we are capable of so much more than we allow ourselves to believe.


Our fears are simply a manifestation of our self-doubts and our insecurities prevent us from achieving greatness. If we let them, they will drag us down until the only thing left is our desperation to prove that we are better than the doubts and fears we cling to. But none of this is true because no matter what we face in life, we are strong enough to push through it. 


So instead of letting our struggles define us, we need to use them as motivation to become better. We need to use them as fuel to keep moving forward even when everything inside of us is telling us to give up.


And no matter how many times we fall, we must always remember that we are not defined by our mistakes or our failures. We are defined by our ability to get back up and keep going. So never give up on yourself. Never let your fears or your doubts win!


So from now on when you experience these feelings, do not allow your self-doubts to take over. Instead, clear your mind of the negative thoughts and remind yourself that you are capable, strong, wise, etc. and that you can overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Then step forward, determined to prove all of your doubts wrong and show the world what you are truly made of. I know it won't always be easy but I also know that with every day that passes, we become a little stronger and wiser than we were before.


Remember that you are stronger than they are and you have the power to choose how this story ends. You are the author of your own life and you have the power to write a happy ending. You are what you believe. So believe in yourself and never give up.


And, as we continue navigating through these challenging days, let us remember that they are not the end of the road but rather a fork in it. Let us take those lessons learned and use them to help guide our path in whatever direction we choose.


For when everything seems to be pulling you down, remember this simple truth: one-day things will get better.


One day you will be able to look back on this time and see how far you have come. And one day, you will be proud of the person that you have become.
