If you could go back 15 years and speak to your younger self, what would you say?
I know for me, I would tell myself above anything else is to trust the journey.
No matter how difficult life gets, or how many challenges and obstacles are in your way, always remember that your journey is unfolding exactly as it should.
There is beauty in every single moment, even if you do not see it or feel it.
There will be ups and downs, but ultimately everything happens for a reason. It might not make sense in the present, but eventually, it will all come together.
There are also other things that I would say if I could speak to my younger self 15 years ago. One of the primary things would be to try new experiences and not be so closed-minded because life has so much to offer.
When I was younger, I was really afraid of trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone. I was always the type of person to stay within what I knew and not venture too far outside of that. And I was so worried about what other people would think of me and I did not want to make any mistakes because I thought that would reflect badly on me.
Now, looking back, I realize that making mistakes is inevitable, it is a part of life, and it is one of the best ways to learn and grow.
Life is all about trial and error.
The best experiences come from taking risks and pushing yourself to try new things. If you never try new things or take any risks, you will never really know what you are capable of.
In addition to this, I would also tell my younger self to be more confident and believe in myself more. I was always a bit self-doubt when I was younger and I did not have a lot of confidence in myself. I was always my own worst critic and I would get so caught up in what other people thought of me instead of just focusing on being the best that I could be.
As a result, I would often miss out on opportunities because I did not think that I could do it or I was too afraid to try. But I have learned that you need to have confidence in yourself and trust your abilities if you want to succeed in life.
If only could go back, I would tell myself to stop caring about what others think so much and to just focus on being happy and true to myself because that is all that matters in the end.
Lastly, I would tell my younger self to trust the journey. Because success does not happen overnight. It is a journey.
There will be ups and downs, but if you just trust the process, stay positive, and keep moving forward, eventually, you will get to where you want to be.
The process may not be easy, but it will be worth it in the end.
After all, the process leads to greatness and greatness is always worth striving for. You are capable of greatness, it is your potential. And it requires commitment, dedication, and above all else, trust.
So trust that the journey is worth it. And once you tap into that and start living up to your potential, there is no limit to what you can achieve.
Even on the days, you do not “feel like it" just remember that each day is a new opportunity to start fresh and keep moving towards your goals. We all have the power to create our reality. So make it a reality that you are proud of and one that inspires others.
Have faith that everything will work out in the end, because it always does.
Embrace the challenges and learn from them. They are shaping you into the person you are meant to be.
Be the best version of yourself and never give up on your dreams. Believe in yourself, take risks, push yourself outside of your comfort zone, and trust the journey.
And if there is something that you want to do, go for it and do not let anyone stop you. You only have one life to live, so make it count. Make it a life that is worth living.
A life that is full of adventure, love, happiness, and most importantly, trust. And just enjoy the journey!
