Have you ever found yourself in a funk? Feeling unmotivated, uninspired, and just generally blah? We've all been there. It is common to experience a lack of motivation at some point in our lives.


A recent study shows that 70% of Americans feel unmotivated at work. If you are in this group, don't worry - you are not alone! There are a lot of people who struggle with motivation daily, and it can be tough to overcome.


So how do you battle a lack of motivation? Here are thirteen tips that can help:


* Set small, achievable goals

When you are feeling low on motivation, setting smaller goals that you know you can accomplish can be helpful. This can help you feel a sense of accomplishment and progress, which can, in turn, motivate you to keep going. Also, be sure to celebrate when you reach your goals! This will help reinforce positive behavior and make it more likely that you will stick with your goal-setting in the future.


* Find a role model or mentor

Who do you admire? Is there someone whose work ethic or achievements inspire you? If so, try to spend more time around this person or learn more about them. Having a role model can help give you something to aspire to and provide motivation when needed.


* Get organized

A cluttered environment can be draining and overwhelming. If your workspace is messy, take some time to organize it. This will help you feel more in control and can boost your productivity. And when you are more productive, you're more likely to feel motivated.


* Take breaks
