8 Ways To Help Build Your Brand On Instagram

November 23, 2022

"The more you post, the more engagement you will get, and the stronger your brand presence will become."

The power of social media is undeniable–and Instagram is one of the most popular platforms out there. With over 800 million monthly active users, it is a great place to connect with potential customers and build your brand.

It has also been shown to be an effective platform for marketing, with 80% of users saying they follow brands on the network. And according to a study by Sprout Social, 60% of users say they’ve discovered new products on the platform.

But how do you stand out from the crowd on such a huge platform? Is it even possible to build a strong brand presence on Instagram?

Yes, it is–and I will show you how.

Here are eight ways to help build your brand on Instagram:

1. Use high-quality images

This one should be a no-brainer, but it is worth mentioning nonetheless. To stand out on Instagram, you need to use high-quality images because that is what will catch people’s attention. This means well-lit images, are in focus and are visually appealing.

Invest in a good camera, or hire a professional photographer if you can afford it. The quality of your images is essential to building a strong brand presence on Instagram.

2. Use hashtags strategically

Hashtags are a great way to reach new people and get your content seen by more people. But it is important to use them strategically–do not just use any old hashtag.

Do some research and find popular, relevant hashtags to use in your posts. And do not go overboard–a few well-chosen hashtags are better than a bunch of irrelevant ones because they will make your content look spammy.

3. Post regularly

If you want to build a strong brand presence on Instagram, you need to be active and post regularly. This does not mean you need to post every hour of the day, but you should aim to post at least once a day–preferably more.

Consistency is key when it comes to social media, and Instagram is no exception. If you are not posting regularly, people will forget about you and your brand. And when you do post, make sure it is high-quality content that will resonate with your audience.

4. Engage with other users

To build a strong brand presence on Instagram, you need to engage with other users. This means liking and commenting on other people’s posts, as well as responding to comments on your posts.

Engagement is a two-way street, so do not just focus on getting other people to engage with you–make sure you are engaging with them, too. Showing that you care about your followers will go a long way in building a strong relationship with them.

5. Run giveaways and contests

People love free stuff, so running giveaways and contests are a great way to get people interested in your brand. And it does not have to be expensive–even something small like a $10 gift card can be enough to entice people to enter.

When running a giveaway or contest, make sure to clearly state the rules and how to enter. And don’t forget to promote it–the more people who know about it, the better.

6. Tell stories

People are drawn to stories, so share yours! Tell your followers about your brand and what it stands for. Share behind-the-scenes photos and videos, and give them a peek into your world.

Stories are a great way to connect with your followers on a personal level and make them feel like they know you and your brand. And that is essential for building a strong relationship with them.

7. Use calls to action

If you want people to do something, you need to tell them what to do. This is where calls to action come in.

A call to action is simply a statement that tells people what you want them to do. For example, “like this post, if you love ice cream” or “tag a friend who needs to see this.” Calls to action are a great way to increase engagement and get people involved with your content. So do not be afraid to use them!

8. Use Instagram ads

If you want to reach even more people with your content, you can use Instagram ads. Ads are a great way to get your content in front of more people, and you can target your ads so that they are only seen by people who are likely to be interested in what you have to offer.

Instagram ads can be a bit expensive, but they are worth it if you want to reach a larger audience. And if you’re not sure how to get started, you can always hire a professional to help you out.

Building a strong brand presence on Instagram takes time and effort, but it is worth it.

If you follow these tips, you will be well on your way to success and reach your goals in no time.

And remember, do not give up! The more you post, the more engagement you will get, and the stronger your brand presence will become. So keep at it, and you will see results.
